Special Olympics Vermont offers training opportunities near you. A Local Program consists of a local group of individuals with intellectual disabilities who wish to train and compete in Special Olympics and a Local Program Coordinator and volunteers willing to organize safe, quality training for these athletes. The Coordinator oversees all aspects of the local program including volunteers and coaches, training, competition, fund raising, public relations, family involvement, financial responsibilities and administration.
