DREAM RIDE 2010 - Join the movement!

After nine years and over $965,000 in fundraising, Dream Ride 2010 is back and better than ever! Since 2001, this special event has brought motorcycle riders and car enthusiasts together to celebrate the achievements of Special Olypmics athletes, as well as help raise awareness and funds for those with intellectual disabilities.

The continued mission of Dream Ride 2010 is to raise much needed funds for the thousands of Special Olympics athletes around the country. REMEMBER - all $ raised in VT, stay in VT to help

support the athletes in your community!

THE BASICS - Lodging, Food, Cost

$30/rider, $20/passenger

Includes: Lunch and dinner/live music on Saturday, continental breakfast and lunch (chicken, black angus strip steak, pasta salads, ice cream, etc.) on Sunday. Entry into the ride, a t-shirt and a pin (for the first 1,000 riders who register).

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS - August 20th - 22nd

Friday, August 20th, 2010

9:30 a.m. - Meet at Green Mountain Harley-Davidson

10:30 a.m. - Leave Green Mountain Harley-Davidson for Wilkins Harley-Davidson

10:30 a.m. - Additional riders meet at Wilkins Harley-Davidson

11:15 a.m. - Riders from GMH-D arrive

*11:30 a.m. - All riders leave Wilkins H-D for Connecticut

4:30 p.m. - Approximate arrival time at Farmington Marriot, Farmington, CT

*Dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday is on your own*

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

11 a.m. - Learn more about the scenic tours being offered around the valley!

12-1 p.m. - Lunch by Bozzuto's at hte Farmington Marriot and meet motorcyclists arriving from other states and satellite locations

5 p.m. - Dinner by Bozzuto's and live music - meet friends from last year coming in from seven states!

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

7-9:30 a.m. - Continental breakfast courtesy of Bozzuto's

9:30 a.m. - Leave the Marriot for the Farmington Club and Dream Ride 2010

11 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Dream Ride festivities!

*PLEASE NOTE:

Vermont riders will be leaving on Friday, Aug. 20th for Dream Ride 2010. If you are unable to leave on Friday, a group will be meeting at GMH-D and WH-D on Saturday morning at a time TBD. Please stay tuned for Saturday departure times and directions!

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS - Help us advertise!

Vermont already has 59 riders registered for Dream Ride 2010. This is 17 over the number we had last year. Currently we're leading the satellite states as the state with the greatest number of participants, but Maine is catching up! We are looking to have the largest contingent from any state other than CT.

Ask your motorcycle club, car club, family, friends, co-workers, etc. to join us for DREAM RIDE 2010! It's an experience you won't want to miss.
