April 26th - 27th 2008, Basketball @ University of Vermont

Special Olympics Vermont Spring Sports is divided into two days of Basketball competition which includes traditional and unified team basketball.  Unified Sports® teams include an athlete (individual with an intellectual disability) on the same team as a partner (individual with out a disability).  There will be Individual and Unified Skills competition which include: Target Pass, Spot Shot, and the 10 Meter Dribble.  There will also be a Developmental Skills Competition which includes: Short Basket Shot and Speed Dribble.
Special Olympics Vermont Spring Sports 2008 are open to the public and greatly encourages spectators to attend and cheer on the athletes.
