Thanks for your willingness and energy to start up a new Unified Sports Program!  There are a variety of forms available on line; athlete/partner registration forms, volunteer registration forms and examples of forms and informational letters to help you get started and stay organized through this process. The registration forms can be found by clicking here! Examples of other forms used by other Unified Sports Teams and informational letters are below for your use. You can use the actual document here, or use the forms to generate ideas on creating a form of your own. Introductory Letter: click here for form When first staring a program, or when starting up another program at the beginning of the school year, there are often new athletes and partners recruited. The process of selecting athletes and partners involves educating families about what Unified Sports is, and its relationship to your school. This enables parents/guardians to make an informed decision on permitting their child to participate in Unified Sports. The following "letter to families" is an example of what kind of information should be included in this introductory letter. It includes contact information for home and school, as well as any other pertinent information that may be needed during the course of practices or the actual competition events. The "To Do's" Checklist: click here for form This is a list of all the things you will need to organize and follow-through with during the course of the eight week process of practices and training up unitl the day of the actual competition. The list is set up an order of what typically needs to happen first. |
