SUMMER GAMES
 May - June 2008 @ University of Vermont
Special Olympics Vermont will host the 39th Annual Summer Games at University of Vermont. Over 540 athletes from every county in Vermont will compete in the 2008 Summer Games. One hundred coaches and more than 300 volunteers will provide support throughout the entire weekend to ensure a successful event. The games will include Unified Sports® teams which comprise of individuals with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. Spectators are welcomed and encouraged to support all Special Olympic Vermont Athletes. The rumor is true....after a long day of competing, athletes, coaches and volunteers are invited to THE DANCE. At 7:00pm in the big white tent behind the turf field bleechers, Top Hat DJ will entertain the night away. The theme of the 2008 dance will be the movie Grease. Break out your dancin' shoes and get ready!
